Given that I am a native Oregonian, it would be blasphemous to carry, much less own, an umbrella (as children we are weaned early). Anyways, umbrellas can obscure your jewelry. So with wet hair plastered against your cheek, you can now show off my latest rain-inspired line of jewelry made of hollow glass beads shaped into small drops. Earrings and necklaces are available in in cool-water tones of grey, more grey, aqua, and clear. This Spring line is currently available in the magma showroom. . .while the rain lasts.

Knowledge is never wasted. A few years ago I took (and failed miserably at) an Intro to Mandarin class. As a result, I can now say "how are you?" and "thank you" in Mandarin. And it all came in handy when a store in Taipei began carrying magma jewelry.
